The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blue moves out of range of the strikes.
Rurik tries to land a front kick but Blue steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Blue misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rurik stuns Blue with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Blue fails to land the takedown.

Rurik sends Blue crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rurik is motioning to the referee to let Blue up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Johhny Blue has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Blue fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Vladimir Rurik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johhny Blue.
Rurik throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vladimir Rurik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rurik lands a big uppercut and Blue crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Blue looks OK. Rurik waves Blue back to his feet!

Rurik fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rurik fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Blue square on the jaw! Damn, Blue is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
