Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Gravity!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Nelson Country!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gravity throws a body kick that misses.
Country looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Some wild striking there from Country.
Gravity ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gravity thinks about countering with a head kick.
Country looks to throw the jab but Gravity is out of range.

Gravity darts in and clinches Country up against the cage.
Country drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gravity throws a head punch that misses.
Gravity tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Country's elbow.
Gravity is pressed up against the cage. Country has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gravity down to the mat. Gravity avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gravity bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Country's head.
Country misses with a straight right.
Gravity throws the kick towards the body but Country avoids it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Country has a takedown stuffed.
Gary Gravity has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nelson Country.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

It seemed like Country was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A slow jab from Country misses its intended target.
A counter left hand to the body from Gravity misses its target.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

A kick lands to the mid section there for Gravity.
Country throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gravity.
Country takes one on the button.

Gravity throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Country tumbling to the canvas!

It looks like Nelson Country has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gravity trying to control but Country is working from the bottom.
Country is still in real trouble! Can Gravity finish him?
Gravity is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Country looking for a sweep. Not yet Country, not yet.
Gravity stays in close to Country's body and controls the position.
Country avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Gravity arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Country's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
