Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Akira Hendrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Johnny Cash - Hurt kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like Dexter Morgan has been cut.
Morgan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Morgan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hendrix.
Hendrix's corner calls for a 1-2. Hendrix obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Morgan tries to bum rush Hendrix with a series of wild strikes but Hendrix uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hendrix bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Morgan's head.
Hendrix tries to clinch
and Morgan counters with a stiff right hand.
Morgan misses with a low kick as Hendrix jumps back.
A little feinted left hand from Hendrix on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

As Morgan looks to move away, Hendrix throws a big counter combo but Morgan just gets out of the way.
Hendrix looks to land a combination but Morgan avoids it well.
Hendrix misses with a series of wild punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hendrix takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Hendrix displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Morgan throws out the jab.
Hendrix lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Morgan goes down and covers up as Hendrix starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Akira Hendrix!
A very excited looking Akira Hendrix rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
