Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wu Fei Chung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karate Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fei Chung comes to the cage accompanied by God of Gamblers. Kid has chosen Kung Fu Fighting as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fei Chung looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kid looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Fei Chung slips under a jab from Kid.
Kid swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Fei Chung counters with a nice uppercut.
Kid throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kid lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Kid throws a leg kick
and Fei Chung counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kid connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kid swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fei Chung counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fei Chung lands a front kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kid throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Fei Chung slips under a jab.
Kid uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fei Chung.
Fei Chung connects with the punch.

and Fei Chung counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Kid attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Kid is still on wobbly legs! Can Fei Chung finish him?

A telegraphed right hand from Fei Chung misses the target.
Kid seems to have recovered his senses.
Kid does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Fei Chung tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kid swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kid looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kid with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fei Chung to score with a decent uppercut.

Fei Chung closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kid throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fei Chung lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kid goes for a double leg but Fei Chung avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fei Chung continues to drive forward.
Wu Fei Chung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karate Kid.
Kid tries to score with a low kick but Fei Chung moves his leg out of the way.
A quick step to the side and Fei Chung tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fei Chung fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kid has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Fei Chung moves forwards but Kid connects with a nice, crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kid connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kid misses with a body kick.
Fei Chung swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Kid swings for the body but Fei Chung moves out of range.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kid.
Kid shoots in but no luck this time.
Fei Chung takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Fei Chung punishes Kid's body with a nice straight punch.
Kid attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Fei Chung is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kid.
Fei Chung darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Kid is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kid fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Kid closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fei Chung circles away.
Fei Chung swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Kid swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fei Chung counters with a stiff right hand.

Kid throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fei Chung was covering up waiting for the punch and Kid finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fei Chung manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kid manages to get himself to full guard.

Fei Chung stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kid swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kid tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fei Chung slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Kid is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kid is pushing Fei Chung's head away, looking to escape. Fei Chung manages to hold on to the position though.
Fei Chung tries to advance to mount but Kid instead regains half guard.
Fei Chung performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Wu Fei Chung will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Kid closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kid lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fei Chung bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kid's guard.

Kid manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fei Chung manages to get himself to full guard.

Fei Chung seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fei Chung seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kid does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fei Chung escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kid gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fei Chung can't do much from the bottom here.
Kid wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fei Chung keeps working.

Kid wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fei Chung, who protects the arm well.

Karate Kid has got the better of the ground game so far.

Kid goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fei Chung has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kid but great work by Fei Chung.
