Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vilgard Heresis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Augusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heresis avoids the head kick by Augusto.
Augusto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Heresis.

Heresis leaves Augusto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Heresis goes for a takedown attempt but Augusto pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Heresis drops down looking for a counter takedown but Augusto sprawls and moves away.

Vilgard Heresis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rodrigo Augusto is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Augusto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
