Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ismael Mcfadden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cory Foster!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcfadden is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Foster.
Mcfadden walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mcfadden moves forwards but Foster connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Foster clinches up with Mcfadden and pushes him back against the cage.
Foster turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Mcfadden bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Foster on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Some wild striking there from Mcfadden.
Foster's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mcfadden under the eye.
Mcfadden misses with an uppercut
and Foster counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mcfadden is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Foster closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Mcfadden! Foster dives in looking to finish! Mcfadden is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cory Foster!
