Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Telw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Telw throws a low kick, looking for Wilson's leg but Wilson calmly moves out of range.

Wilson throws a quick counter head kick but Telw was just out of range.

Telw clinches up with Wilson and pushes him back against the cage.
Telw can't get the takedown.
Telw tries to circle away but Wilson has him pinned against the cage.

Wilson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Telw goes for a double leg but Wilson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wilson continues to drive forward.

Telw clinches up with Wilson and pushes him back against the cage.
Wilson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Telw escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wilson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wilson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Telw is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Telw shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wilson sprawls well. Wilson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Telw gets slowly back to his feet.
Telw changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wilson tries to avoid it but Telw manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wilson to the ground. Wilson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Andrew Telw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Wilson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Telw tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wilson defends well and Telw ends up having to push Wilson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Wilson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Telw's waist but Telw gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wilson off to one side.

Wilson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Telw is controlling him.

The crowd cheers as Telw lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wilson doesn't seem phased though.

Wilson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Telw's guard.

Telw is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Wilson presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Telw shoots in looking for a takedown. Wilson tries to sprawl out of it but Telw keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wilson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tony Wilson.
