The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heath wants to clinch.
Pivaric closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Heath did well to prevent Pivaric getting side control.
Heath is trying to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heath throws a strike from the bottom but Pivaric passes into side control!

Heath might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Pivaric wants to hit a switch here but Heath passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Pivaric there!
Heath avoids the attempt from Pivaric to control.
Heath is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pivaric to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pivaric shrugs it off.

Pivaric is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Heath pulls his head out easily.

Heath got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pivaric has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Heath has managed to get both his arms back between Pivaric's legs - danger averted.

Heath has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pivaric is proving hard to escape from.
Pivaric is pulling down on Heath's head. It's preventing any offense from Heath, at least for the moment.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Pivaric. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Well Pivaric has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
