Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Weldon Carrillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris ForeSkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Weldon Carrillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris ForeSkin!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrillo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

ForeSkin gets caught napping as Carrillo dives in and scores a takedown. ForeSkin manages to retain guard.
ForeSkin trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
ForeSkin wants to sweep but no luck.
Carrillo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Carrillo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Carrillo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

ForeSkin working a defensive guard here.

ForeSkin is working an open guard so Carrillo takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

ForeSkin drives through and clinches with Carrillo against the cage.

ForeSkin gets control of Carrillo's arms and successfully pulls guard. ForeSkin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Carrillo decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on ForeSkin, up you get!

ForeSkin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Carrillo!

ForeSkin wants to control the position but Carrillo frees himself and scrambles - ForeSkin manages to regain control in side control.

ForeSkin tries to advance to mount but Carrillo denies him.

ForeSkin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Carrillo has escaped the position, nice work there.

ForeSkin decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Carrillo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Carrillo gets caught flat footed, as ForeSkin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Carrillo has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. ForeSkin has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Carrillo gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Carrillo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Carrillo drops back looking for a leg! ForeSkin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and ForeSkin manages to kick Carrillo off! Carrillo jumps back into ForeSkin's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
ForeSkin has a closed guard, preventing Carrillo from standing up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Weldon Carrillo will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Carrillo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. ForeSkin sprawls well initially but Carrillo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

ForeSkin manages to escape and get back to his feet!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

ForeSkin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carrillo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Carrillo has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. ForeSkin is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

ForeSkin rushes Carrillo and presses him up against the cage.

Carrillo seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

ForeSkin tries to free his leg and advance position but Carrillo is retaining full guard.

A close second round but Chris ForeSkin will probably get the nod - 10:9.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


ForeSkin stuns Carrillo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Carrillo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
ForeSkin throws an elbow that misses. Carrillo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in ForeSkin's guard. Nice move by Carrillo!

Weldon Carrillo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

ForeSkin lands with a thumping leg kick.

ForeSkin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Carrillo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
ForeSkin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carrillo keeps working.

ForeSkin has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

ForeSkin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. ForeSkin showed some decent athleticism there.

ForeSkin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carrillo keeps working.
ForeSkin is taking a breather. Carrillo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Carrillo is not content to let ForeSkin control the position.

Carrillo pushes ForeSkin off and gets back to his feet.

ForeSkin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
ForeSkin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

And that's the end of the fight!
Chris ForeSkin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well ForeSkin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
