Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ricky Crow and Ezekiel Moon. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ezekiel Moon enters the cage!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Ricky Crow! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 2 losses; Ezekiel Moon!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
Moon tries to clinch but Crow is having none of it.

Moon rushes Crow and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Crow jumps into guard, dragging Moon to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Moon looking to pass the guard.

Moon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Moon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crow pulls Moon in close to prevent any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moon pushes down on Crow's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Moon looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Crow gets back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Moon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Crow seems keen to control Moon's posture.
Crow continues to stall.
Crow looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Moon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Crow dives on top into guard.

Crow looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Crow works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Crow is looking to advance position but Moon won't allow it.

Crow is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Crow trying to mount his opponent but Moon defends it.

Moon looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Moon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Crow pulls his head out easily.
Crow passes to side control.

Moon manages to get back to half guard.

Crow wants to work for an arm triangle but Moon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Crow passes the guard and advances to mount!

Moon bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Crow pulls Moon in close to prevent any damage.
Moon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crow swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Crow looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moon is one step ahead there.
Crow is pulling down on Moon's head to control his posture.
Crow on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Crow tries to get out of the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Moon drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Moon seems to have locked his on tight now - Crow screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Moon, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Ezekiel Moon!
Ezekiel Moon decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
