Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willard Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piet Van Zyl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Van Zyl moves into the clinch.

Van Zyl tightens his grip and picks Henry up, before dumping him to the ground. Henry manages to land in guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Henry is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Van Zyl scores with a couple of nice shots.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Van Zyl drives through and clinches with Henry against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Henry tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Van Zyl smiles and moves away.
Piet Van Zyl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Van Zyl gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Henry using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Van Zyl has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Van Zyl is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Van Zyl ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Van Zyl no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Van Zyl is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

It looks like Willard Henry has been cut.
Henry throws a series of punches but Van Zyl avoids them all with ease.
Henry moves out of range of the body kick.
Van Zyl looks to land a combination but Henry avoids it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Henry has his feet on Van Zyl's thighs here. He's pushed Van Zyl off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Van Zyl screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
