Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terence Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Chapo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terence Robertson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, El Chapo!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Chapo counters with a two punch combo.
Chapo shoots in but no luck this time.
Chapo misses with a takedown attempt - Robertson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Robertson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Chapo instigates a clinch.

Chapo pulls guard effortlessly.
Chapo controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robertson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chapo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Robertson throws an elbow that misses. Chapo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Robertson's guard. Nice move by Chapo!

Robertson wants to get back to his feet but Chapo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Chapo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Chapo decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Robertson, up you get!

Robertson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Chapo to the ground. Robertson is now in Chapo's guard.
Robertson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Robertson stands and steps away. Chapo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Chapo pulls Robertson into guard.
Robertson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Robertson throws a big elbow that misses.
Robertson postures up in Chapo's guard and throws a big left but Chapo blocks it.

Robertson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Chapo rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Robertson's guard! Nice work there by Chapo!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Chapo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Chapo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Chapo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Horrible takedown attempt by Robertson or perhaps it was just good defense by Chapo, which made it look bad.
Chapo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Robertson goes for an armbar but Chapo turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Chapo.

Robertson is striking off his back. Chapo thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Robertson throws a strike from the bottom but Chapo passes into side control!

Chapo is looking to take a break and control but Robertson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Chapo throwing strikes but Robertson manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Chapo kicks off Robertson and gets to his feet.
Terence Robertson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Chapo clinches up against the cage.
Chapo is trying to force a seperation but Robertson has the dominant position.
Robertson tries to score a body lock takedown but Chapo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Chapo jumps guard and drags Robertson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Robertson throws an elbow that misses. Chapo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Robertson's guard. Nice move by Chapo!


Chapo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Chapo shoots in and drives through. Robertson sprawls well.
Chapo misses with a takedown attempt - Robertson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Robertson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chapo is fending him off so far but Robertson persists. Nope, Chapo circles away and we're back to standing.
Chapo cracks a nice hook into Robertson's ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Robertson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chapo.
The fight stays on the outside here - Robertson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Chapo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Robertson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chapo somewhat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

El Chapo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Robertson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chapo after a bit of a struggle.

Chapo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chapo is on top in guard.

Robertson manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Robertson darts in trying to clinch
and Chapo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Chapo moves into range and clinches up with Robertson.

Chapo jumps guard.
Chapo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Chapo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Robertson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Chapo pushes Robertson off and gets back to his feet.

Chapo shoots in and drives through. Robertson sprawls well.
Chapo fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Robertson is out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Robertson prevents the takedown attempt.
Robertson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Chapo pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Chapo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Robertson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Chapo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Robertson is aware though and is defending well.
Chapo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Chapo looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Robertson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chapo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Robertson, into his guard.

El Chapo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Chapo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
