Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jalasvuki Jakanen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Igor Knyaz!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knyaz looks to score with a jab to the body but Jakanen is just out of range.
A jab lands there for Knyaz.
It looks like Jalasvuki Jakanen has been cut.
Jakanen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Knyaz has managed to clinch.
Jakanen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jakanen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Knyaz swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Knyaz takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Jakanen throws a sloppy head kick and Knyaz moves out of range easily.

Jakanen connects with an inside leg kick.

Knyaz fails in his attempt to clinch.

Knyaz now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Jakanen.
Jakanen looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Knyaz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jakanen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Knyaz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Knyaz throws an overhand right that lands on Jakanen's shoulder, as Jakanen tries to avoid the shot.
Jakanen tries a head kick but it misses.
Jakanen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Knyaz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Knyaz cracks Jakanen with a big right hand and Jakanen goes down!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jalasvuki Jakanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knyaz tries to clinch there but Jakanen circles away.
Jakanen lands with a kick to the ribs.

Jakanen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Knyaz's head.
Knyaz has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Knyaz moves out of range as Jakanen throws a body kick.
Knyaz looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Jakanen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Knyaz cracks Jakanen with an uppercut from hell and Jakanen crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Knyaz's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Knyaz gets to his feet - Jakanen follows without any prompting.
Jakanen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jakanen misses with the body kick
and Knyaz counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
