Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Corey Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geordi La Forge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Francis DeMontford and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burton takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
La Forge falls off balance throwing a combination
and Burton counters with a nice double leg into side control. La Forge won't be happy with that.
Burton content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Burton has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
La Forge fails with an attempt to clinch.
Burton decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Burton seems to be working for a kimura but La Forge defends the submission attempt.
Burton keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Burton decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Burton darts in and clinches La Forge up against the cage.
La Forge has had enough of the clinch but Burton keeps him there for the moment.
La Forge blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Burton is pushing La Forge up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
La Forge is trying to break the clinch but Burton has him pressed against the cage.
Burton is trying to trip La Forge. He has hold of a leg but La Forge is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Burton persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
La Forge is looking to stand back up but Burton counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by La Forge.
Burton stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
La Forge tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Burton paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Burton keeps the fight on the outside.
La Forge lands with a good body shot.
La Forge gets tackled into the cage by Burton. Burton maintains the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on La Forge's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Burton manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
La Forge wants to break the clinch but can't.
A body shot lands from Burton.
Burton has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but La Forge regains guard immediately.
La Forge wants to get back to his feet but Burton passes into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Burton is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Burton stands up and beckons La Forge to join him on the feet.
Geordi La Forge is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fight stays on the outside here - La Forge looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
La Forge just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromBurton.
La Forge swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Burton counters with a nice double leg into side control. La Forge won't be happy with that.

Burton moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Burton decides to stand back up. Burton steps back and let's La Forge get back to his feet.
La Forge dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
La Forge tries to clinch but Burton moves out of range.
La Forge sizes up Burton with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
La Forge looks to land a combination but Burton avoids it well.

Burton lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Corey Burton dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
La Forge's corner calls for a 1-2. La Forge obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Corey Burton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
La Forge tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Burton paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sloppy strikes from La Forge. Those never looked like landing.
Burton appears to be looking for a big counter.
Burton moves into the clinch.
Burton has hold of one of La Forge's legs. La Forge is fighting the takedown attempt but Burton gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Burton not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
La Forge wants to get back to his feet but Burton passes into half guard.
Burton stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows La Forge to get to his feet.

La Forge tries to keep at a distance but Burton has taken the fight into the clinch.
Burton doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

La Forge swings wildly with an uppercut but Burton uses good head movement to avoid it.
La Forge wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Burton has him pressed against the cage.
Burton gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Burton is sneakily working for an arm triangle but La Forge sees it coming and defends easily.

La Forge is defending against the submission attempts here by Burton.
Still in half guard, Burton seems content to control.
La Forge manages to escape and get back to his feet!
La Forge lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

La Forge throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
La Forge scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
La Forge tries to clinch up.
Burton lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
La Forge throws a shot to the body.
Burton closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
La Forge wants to get back to striking at distance but Burton won't allow it.
Burton lands a knee to the body.
Burton gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, La Forge regains guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Burton sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Burton drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but La Forge manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Burton has La Forge in his guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Burton looking for submissions from the bottom but instead La Forge passes into half guard.
La Forge decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Burton takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Geordi La Forge will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
It's a brutal combination of punches from La Forge! Burton is backing up but he can't get away as La Forge lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Burton and ends the fight. Great knockout.
