Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seymore Taps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into the arena with Collie Buddz - Come Around blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jones prevents Taps from getting the reversal.
Taps slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Jones is working for a kimura but Taps is defending it quite comfortably.
Taps is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Jones passes the guard and advances to mount!
Jones avoids the attempt from Taps to control.

Taps is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea.
Taps tries to hold on but Jones pushes him away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
