Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daley McReynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nigel Nobody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nobody has chosen Red - Same Disease as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nigel Nobody!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nobody throws a poor cross that misses
and McReynolds counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Nobody gets off balance looking for a body kick

and McReynolds counters with a nice double leg into guard.
McReynolds might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McReynolds trying to control but Nobody is working from the bottom.
Nobody is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
McReynolds not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Nobody throws a strike but McReynolds avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

McReynolds tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nobody defends well and McReynolds ends up having to push Nobody into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

McReynolds stuns Nobody with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Nobody shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. McReynolds manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McReynolds digs a good body shot into Nobody's ribs.
Nobody takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

McReynolds wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Nobody.
McReynolds feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nobodys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

McReynolds changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nobody tries to avoid it but McReynolds manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nobody to the ground. Nobody escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nobody connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

McReynolds seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

It looked like McReynolds was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Nobody.

That was a close second round but I would say that Daley McReynolds will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McReynolds stays in close to Nobody's body and controls the position.
McReynolds's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Nobody working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McReynolds doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McReynolds manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Nobody has his foot on McReynolds's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McReynolds works his way back into a safe position though.

Nobody connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McReynolds momentarily.

and Nobody counters with an inside leg kick.

Nobody lands with a shot to the body.
McReynolds swings for the body but Nobody moves out of range.

McReynolds wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Nobody feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McReynolds's calf.
McReynolds will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

McReynolds fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nobody sprawls well initially but McReynolds persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
