The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders wants to clinch.

Sanders gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Miocic gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Miocic shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanders preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Sanders controls Miocic momentarily but Miocic frees himself.
Sanders is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Miocic pushing down on Sanders's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Miocic winds up and cracks Sanders with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Sanders is rocked!

Miocic decides to return to a standing position.

Miocic closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sanders did well to prevent Miocic getting side control.
Oh Sanders is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miocic moves into full mount! Sanders won't be happy about that!
Miocic tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
