Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stan Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bran Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stan Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bran Price!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans throws a head kick that misses
and Price counters with an inside leg kick.

Evans moves into range and clinches up with Price.
Evans is trying to break the clinch but Price is controlling him.
Price is pushing Evans up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Price stalling against the cage.
Evans is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Price to keep the fight standing.

Price turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Price manages to end up in side control.
Evans is trying to control Price's posture but Price avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Price scoring with punches and elbows.
Evans is looking to regain half guard here but Price keeps moving and retains side control.

Price tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Price has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Evans is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Price's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Evans pushes Price off looking to stand but Price dives back in and keeps control.
Evans makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Evans.
Evans throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Evans is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Evans is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Price stops Evans from standing up.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Evans trying to keep a closed guard but Price is proving a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Price misses with a head kick.
Evans doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Price counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Evans went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Price throws a head kick that misses.
Bran Price seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Price closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Evans decides to pull guard.
Price with a flurry of punches that miss.
Evans is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Evans working a defensive guard but Price passes into half guard.

Price wants to work for an arm triangle but Evans is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Price connects with a nice short shot to Evans's temple.

Evans is looking to improve his position.
Evans is looking to control Price's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Evans avoid being mounted?

Price is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Evans is just riding it out for now. Price eventually gives up the hold.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Evans is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Price scores with a couple of nice shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bran Price dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Evans looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Price closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Price is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Evans has managed to free his arm - good work.
Price prevents Evans from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Evans moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Evans working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Price.
Price trying to control but Evans is working from the bottom.
Evans might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Price gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Price keeps the fight on the outside.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Price fails to land with a series of punches.
Evans closes the distance and clinches up with Price, looking for a takedown. Evans pushes Price against the cage but Price circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Price shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Evans tries to roll over but Price keeps him under control.
Evans pushes Price off looking to stand but Price dives back in and keeps control.
Price is trying to control the action in half guard but Evans is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Evans gets full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Evans has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Price has passed into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Evans bucks up and tries to throw Price off but instead Price has got his back!
Price has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Price really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Evans.

Price is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Evans defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Evans looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bran Price showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Price gets tackled into the cage by Evans. Evans maintains the clinch.

Price gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Price is looking to take a break and control but Evans is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Evans is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Evans preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Evans could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fighters are battling for position here. Evans manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Evans is looking to sweep but instead, Price has passed into half guard.

Price is working for a kimura but Evans is defending it quite comfortably.
Evans is trying to control but can't.
Evans wants to sweep but Price has passed to side control!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Evans throws a few strikes from the bottom but Price takes advantage and mounts!
Evans is in a horrible position here. Price smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Price trying to control but Evans is having none of it.

Price jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Evans is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Evans and Price has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Evans wants to control but Price postures up.
Bran Price is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Price tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Price takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Evans wants to get back to his feet but Price drags him back down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Evans struggling a bit here.
Evans is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Price is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Evans is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Price's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Evans wants to improve his position but Price is controlling well.
Price passes to side control.

Evans prevents Price from moving into mount.

Bran Price comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Price winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
