Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jouzee Alddo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jouzee Alddo!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Francis DeMontford and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez misses with a hook.
Alddo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Hernandez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Hernandez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Hernandez has his foot on Alddo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Alddo works his way back into a safe position though.

Alddo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hernandez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Alddo controls the pace.

Hernandez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hernandez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Alddo pushes down on Hernandez's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Alddo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Well, if Alddo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Let's hope that Alddo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Oh Hernandez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Alddo working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hernandez is trying to control Alddo's posture but Alddo avoids it.
Alddo is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Hernandez will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Alddo lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hernandez down.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Alddo in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Hernandez looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Alddo turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
