Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harry Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Datass!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson avoids a punch combination nicely.

Peter Datass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Datass's waist but Datass gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wilson off to one side.

Wilson shoots in looking for a takedown. Datass tries to sprawl out of it but Wilson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Datass manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Harry Wilson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Wilson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Datass has his hands clasped together but Wilson extends and breaks Datass's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Wilson.

Harry Wilson got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
