Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hal Middleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raygun Flounders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raygun Flounders acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Hal Middleton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Raygun Flounders!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Middleton with a lazy takedown attempt
and Flounders counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Hal Middleton has been cut.
Middleton slaps away a takedown attempt from Flounders, before circling back to the center of the mat.
An inside leg kick from Middleton misses.
Flounders keeps the fight on the outside.
Middleton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Flounders gets a clinch.

Flounders manages to pull guard.
Flounders tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flounders is still trying to improve position.
Flounders wants to stand but Middleton is controlling the position.
Middleton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Flounders had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Middleton defends it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Flounders can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Middleton controls the pace.

and Flounders counters with a left and a right that stings Middleton.

Middleton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Flounders to the mat! Flounders manages to get full guard.

Flounders tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Middleton keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Flounders's head.

Flounders throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Middleton escapes and throws Flounders's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Flounders is trying to get back to half guard.

Middleton looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Middleton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Flounders keeps working.

Middleton working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Middleton is putting a hurting on Flounders here, landing some big shots from side control.
Middleton scores with a couple of short elbows.
Middleton in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Middleton connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Flounders some visible discomfort.

Flounders fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Middleton avoids it really well and circles away.

Flounders is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Flounders is breathing heavily.

Middleton drives through and clinches with Flounders against the cage.
Middleton tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Flounders's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Middleton tries to clinch but Flounders is having none of it.

Raygun Flounders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Middleton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Middleton swings around for an armbar but Flounders sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Middleton's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hal Middleton will probably get the nod.

Horrible takedown attempt by Flounders or perhaps it was just good defense by Middleton, which made it look bad.

Flounders working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Middleton has passed into half guard!

Hal Middleton showed his dominance in that final round.
