Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Noah McAdoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McAdoo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rise and Shine. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah McAdoo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trey Lawson!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAdoo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lawson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McAdoo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
McAdoo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lawson.
Lawson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
McAdoo throws a sloppy head kick and Lawson moves out of range easily.
McAdoo misses with a looping left.
McAdoo throws a nice inside leg kick.
Lawson missing with a left hand there. McAdoo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lawson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McAdoo moves out of range of the strikes.
Lawson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lawson takes one on the button.
McAdoo throws a body shot but no joy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McAdoo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lawson.
Lawson throws a looping overhand right but McAdoo ducks down to avoid it.
McAdoo connects with a solid leg kick.
McAdoo takes one on the button.
Lawson throws a hook to the side of McAdoo's head but McAdoo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
McAdoo moves away from the strike by Lawson.
Lawson connects with a crisp jab.
McAdoo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
It seemed like Lawson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
McAdoo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lawson manages to avoid it.
McAdoo throws a leg kick
and Lawson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
McAdoo throws a body punch but Lawson moves out of range.
McAdoo throws a low kick but Lawson avoids it.

McAdoo moves away from the strike by Lawson.
A head kick by Lawson misses
and McAdoo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McAdoo misses with a left hand
letting Lawson counter with a right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lawson lands a left and a right that send McAdoo crashing to the mat, dazed. Lawson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


McAdoo is rocked!


It looks like Noah McAdoo has been cut.
McAdoo misses with a wild body shot.
Lawson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Oh McAdoo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McAdoo tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
McAdoo seems to have got his legs back now.
McAdoo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McAdoo throws a body punch but Lawson moves out of range.
Lawson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

McAdoo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lawson's hands.

Lawson misses the jab.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lawson checks a leg kick.
Lawson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lawson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McAdoo.
McAdoo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Lawson moves out of range of the leg kick from McAdoo.
Lawson looks like he wants to counter punch here.
McAdoo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Lawson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lawson throws a looping overhand right but McAdoo ducks down to avoid it.
McAdoo is looking to slow Lawson down with leg kicks.

Lawson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McAdoo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lawson counters with a stiff right hand.
McAdoo is looking to score with low kicks.
Lawson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McAdoo lands a jab.
McAdoo looks to land a body kick but Lawson moved away.
Lawson raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
McAdoo swings away with a leg kick that misses.
McAdoo scores with a kick to the body.
Lawson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - McAdoo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lawson throws a head kick that McAdoo semi-blocks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McAdoo throws a predictable looking body shot
and Lawson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
McAdoo looks to score with a jab to the body but Lawson is just out of range.
Lawson now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Lawson checks the leg kick nicely there.
A nice side step and Lawson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
A kick lands to the mid section there for McAdoo.
Jab, jab by McAdoo - just one landing.
Lawson lands a nice looking body shot.
McAdoo is looking to land body kicks.
Lawson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Lawson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Lawson cracks McAdoo with a good jab.
McAdoo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lawson was well out of range. Poor timing from McAdoo.
Lawson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McAdoo.
A little jabbing left from Lawson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

and McAdoo counters with a shoot takedown. Lawson fights it but they end up in guard.
Lawson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

McAdoo is trying to maintain the position but Lawson is very close to passing his half guard.

Lawson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
McAdoo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lawson is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lawson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

McAdoo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
McAdoo tries to get to full guard but Lawson has control of the leg.

Lawson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
McAdoo is controlling Lawson's position as best he can from this difficult position.
McAdoo is looking to control Lawson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McAdoo avoid being mounted?

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McAdoo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Lawson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from McAdoo.
McAdoo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Trey Lawson seems to be getting the better of the standup.
McAdoo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
McAdoo on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A punch combination from McAdoo misses.
Lawson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

McAdoo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

McAdoo is looking to wear down Lawson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

No joy there for Lawson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Trey Lawson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

McAdoo throws a hook but Lawson avoids it easily.
