Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leon Montana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Onni Seppala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seppala doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Montana drops Seppala with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Seppala looks back up at him and smiles so Montana waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Montana is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Seppala.
Montana takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Montana looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Seppala lands a left and a right that send Montana crashing to the mat, dazed. Seppala thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Onni Seppala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Seppala tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Montana manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
