Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Cartagena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tane Huia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cartagena might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Crack Attack. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huia tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cartagena manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A left lands for Huia.
Cartagena throws a right hand that Huia ducks under and follows up with a left that Huia also avoids with ease.

Huia moves into the clinch.
Huia looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Still in the clinch, Huia scores with a nice short uppercut.
Huia throws a head punch that misses.
Huia softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Huia.
Cartagena tries to break the clinch but Huia is controlling the position.
Cartagena has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Huia lands a hook to the side of the head.

Cartagena blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Cartagena is trying to force a seperation but Huia has the dominant position.
Huia can't find room to land a body shot as Cartagena controls the action.
A frustrated look appears on Cartagena's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Huia lands with a right to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cartagena breaks from the clinch.
Huia moves out of range as Cartagena strikes.
Huia throws a left and a right that both miss
and Cartagena counters with a right hand to the body.

Huia misses with a double jab.

Huia closes the distance and clinches.
Cartagena blocks an uppercut.
Huia can't find room to land a body shot as Cartagena controls the action.
Cartagena prevents a body shot from Huia.
Huia misses with a hook from the clinch.
Cartagena is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Huia swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Cartagena escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Huia tries to bum rush Cartagena with a series of wild strikes but Cartagena uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

It looks like Tane Huia has been cut.

Tane Huia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Huia bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The fighters circling - Cartagena throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Cartagena drops Huia with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Huia looks back up at him and smiles so Cartagena waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Huia is rocked!
Cartagena lands an uppercut, right on the button! Huia tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Our winner, Don Cartagena, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
