Bardanos comes into the arena with My Kingdom Will Come blaring out of the sound system. Tree Knee Dad has chosen Not Falling by Mudvayne as his entrance music. Boreste Bardanos is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bardanos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bardanos throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tree Knee Dad misses with a hook. Bardanos ducked under it nicely.

and Tree Knee Dad connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tree Knee Dad ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tree Knee Dad fails to land with a series of punches.
It looked like Bardanos wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Bardanos defending well as Tree Knee Dad loads up on a big left hand.
Bardanos attempts a counter takedown but Tree Knee Dad avoids it well and moves away.
Bardanos scores with a nice right hand.
Bardanos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tree Knee Dad throws a hook but Bardanos avoids it easily.
Bardanos looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bardanos has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bardanos there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bardanos throws a hook but Tree Knee Dad blocks it.
Tree Knee Dad throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Venum Tree Knee Dad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Bardanos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bardanos fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tree Knee Dad sprawls well initially but Bardanos persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tree Knee Dad is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bardanos's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bardanos's back!
I really don't envy Bardanos right now.

Tree Knee Dad is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bardanos defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Tree Knee Dad is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Bardanos with him. Bardanos is trying to defend but Tree Knee Dad has an arm under the chin now! Bardanos grimaces and is forced to tap out!
