The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Batinic throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Joyner tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Batinic is in Joyner's guard.

Batinic lands a couple of elbows.
Joyner is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Batinic seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Joyner really is a fat lump.
Joyner wants to get back to his feet but Batinic is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
