The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mamic darts in and clinches Ellison up against the cage.
Ellison is trying to pull guard but Mamic turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Ellison is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mamic is keeping busy.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Mamic.
Mamic lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Anton Ellison has been cut.

Mamic jumps guard and drags Ellison to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ellison postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mamic pushes Ellison off and gets back to his feet.

Ellison gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mamic to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mamic lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Ellison wants to stand up but Mamic is controlling him.
Oh Ellison is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mamic postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ellison covers up, he's hurt! Mamic keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Mamic and the ref steps in to end the fight! Mamic can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
