The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aalto rushes do Carmo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Aalto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
do Carmo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Aalto ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Aalto stuffs the takedown attempt from do Carmo. do Carmo gets slowly back to his feet.
do Carmo fails with a takedown attempt.
Viktor Aalto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gibson do Carmo.
do Carmo looks for a takedown but Aalto sprawls well.

do Carmo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Oooh a lovely combination from Aalto sends do Carmo down but not out. Aalto dives into side control looking to finish.
do Carmo trying to remain calm as Aalto controls from the top position.

Aalto stands up and beckons do Carmo to his feet.
Aalto rushes do Carmo with punches - do Carmo moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, do Carmo goes down! Aalto follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
