The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping body kick lands there for Point.

Point looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Walter tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Point seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Point trying to stand up but can't free himself from Walter's guard.
Point stays in close to Walter's body and controls the position.
Walter really is a fat lump.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walter wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Point is stalling in the full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Walter is on top in guard.

Point is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Point can do anything to dispel that myth.

Point is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Walter is aware though and is defending well.

Walter decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Point, up you get!
Walter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Point fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Walter avoids it really well and circles away.
Walter fires out a quick counter leg kick but Point just manages to avoid it.

Point closes this distance looking for a takedown but Walter circles away.

Point closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Walter's guard.

Walter has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Point has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Point manages to break the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Walter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Point swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A combination from Point does no damage.

Point instigates a clinch.

Point pulls Walter into guard.

Point manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Point throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Walter tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Point is in Walter's guard.
Walter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Walter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Point doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Walter is tightening it up a little... Point has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Point reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Point taps out! Nice BJJ there by Walter!
