Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Romeo Christensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King fails with the takedown

and Christensen counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Christensen just misses with a elbow thrown towards King's brow.

King keeps control of Christensen as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Christensen tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

King is trying to trip Christensen. He has hold of a leg but Christensen is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. King persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
King seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Christensen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

King is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Christensen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Christensen's back!

King wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Christensen, who protects the arm well.

That was a close round but I would say that Romeo Christensen will probably get the nod.
