Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Jury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lawrence Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jury's entrance music is Fika mai le pese-Zipso. A fine choice. Lawrence Cohen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jury keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jury misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Cohen stalks Jury and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jury's face. Jury staggers backwards, shaken.

Cohen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jury sprawls well initially but Cohen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jury is trying to escape back to his feet but Cohen uses the scramble to pass into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cohen closes the distance and clinches up with Jury, looking for a takedown. Cohen pushes Jury against the cage but Jury circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cohen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jury tries to avoid it but Cohen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jury to the ground. Jury escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Cohen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Jury rushes Cohen and presses him up against the cage.

Cohen is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jury can't fight it off and eventually Cohen manages to take the fight to the floor. Jury looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Cohen tries for a takedown but Jury sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jury slips a straight right by Cohen.
Cohen shoots in looking for a takedown. Jury tries to sprawl out of it but Cohen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jury manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
