Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Neil Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Lite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the ring accompanied by Re-Education (Through Labor). Lite is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lights out. Neil Smith has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a looping overhand right but Lite ducks down to avoid it.
Lite pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Smith takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like Neil Smith has been cut.
Lite slips a jab from Smith.
Lite ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Smith shoots in but no luck this time.
Smith checks a leg kick.
Smith lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Lite throws out a powerful jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Lite rushes Smith and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Smith wants to stall.

Smith moves out of range of the leg kick from Lite.

Lite takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A jab from Lite misses.
No joy there for Lite, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lite is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Smith throws a head kick that misses.
Lite swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lite misses with a double jab.
Smith will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Lite moves out of range easily.

Lite closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lite cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The referee warns Smith that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Smith is looking to improve his position but Lite isn't that keen on the idea.

Smith tries to get to full guard but Lite has control of the leg.

Smith is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Smith tries to free his leg and advance position but Lite is retaining full guard.
Lite can't keep his opponent in guard - Smith advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Smith is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lite sees it coming and defends easily.

Smith is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Lite utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Lite looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Smith passes into half guard.
Lite is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Smith stalling away here and it's allowed Lite to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Lite throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Lite walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Smith drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Lite swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Smith's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
