Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shintaro Nomo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan has chosen Beast as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Ryan!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nomo tests Ryan's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Nomo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Nomo swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Nomo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ryan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nomo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ryan on the side of the head.
Ryan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nomo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ryan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Ryan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

That was a close round but I would say that Shintaro Nomo will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Nomo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ryan walks away with a smile on his face. Nomo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
