Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shamus McGillicuddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGillicuddy comes into the arena with DJ Shadow featuring Run The Jewels - Nobody Speak blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Brown's choice of entrance music: Dmx The Rain. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and McGillicuddy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
McGillicuddy throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range.
McGillicuddy throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Brown uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McGillicuddy.
McGillicuddy scores with a jab.
McGillicuddy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Brown swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and McGillicuddy counters by moving into the clinch.

McGillicuddy breaks the clinch.
Brown stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McGillicuddy.

Brown gets tackled into the cage by McGillicuddy. McGillicuddy maintains the clinch.
McGillicuddy scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Brown jumps guard but McGillicuddy stands there with Brown around his waist. Brown gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Shamus McGillicuddy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Brown.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McGillicuddy manages to break the clinch.

Brown throws a jab but it's blocked by McGillicuddy.
McGillicuddy seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
McGillicuddy cracks Brown with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Brown tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McGillicuddy pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Brown is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
