The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Piper is trying to drag Sikora to the mat but Sikora just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Piper had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sikora is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Piper Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sikora's back instead.

Sikora is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Piper gets his way!

Piper goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Sikora escapes and is now in half guard on top.

Piper has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sikora can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Piper escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sikora gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Peter Piper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
