Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Akheem Flynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Basurto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Basurto's choice of entrance music: Tapout - Birdman. Akheem Flynn has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flynn throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Basurto was covering up waiting for the punch and Flynn finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Flynn isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Basurto stacks Flynn on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Basurto!

Basurto looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Flynn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Basurto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Flynn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Basurto has managed to get both his arms back between Flynn's legs - danger averted.
Basurto has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Well Basurto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
