The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
It seemed like Brasi Iii was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Brasi Iii shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gray is trying to defend but Brasi Iii finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Gray tries to kick Brasi Iii off in order to stand up. Brasi Iii Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

The referee is taking a good look at Gray as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Brasi Iii!
