The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buckets paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Garrison tries a low kick but Buckets avoids it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Garrison bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A little feinted left hand from Garrison on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Garrison counters with a head kick that drops Buckets to the mat! Buckets scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Buckets lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Garrison has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Garrison and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Buckets tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Garrison is able to avoid easily.

Garrison looks to land a combination but Buckets avoids it well.
Buckets is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Garrison had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Garrison stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Garrison scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Buckets doesn't seem bothered though.

Garrison takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Buckets tries to counter with a clinch but Garrison shakes him off and moves away.

Buckets pounces like a tiger and cracks Garrison with a vicious hook! Garrison is down but not out! Buckets follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

A relieved looking Bobby Buckets thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
