Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

As Wong backs off Robinson throws a huge counter combo but Wong manages to avoid it all.
Robinson tries to close the distance and clinch but Wong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wong went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Wong wants the takedown. Robinson is fighting it off but Wong persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Robinson's guard against the cage.
Robinson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Wong dives into side control.

Wong decides to stand back up. Wong steps back and let's Robinson get back to his feet.
Robinson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wong defends it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Gil Wong will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Wong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wong bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Robinson's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Robinson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wong's guard.

Wong wants to hit a switch here but Robinson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Wong there!

Robinson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
You get the feeling that Wong really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wong reaches up to try and control the position but Robinson seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Wong rolls and tries to escape and now Robinson has his back!
Oh Wong is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Robinson scores with punches to the body.

Robinson has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Robinson is scoring with a succession of shots from the back. Wong is covering up - he's had enough and the ref steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dooey Robinson!
Dooey Robinson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
