Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyril Wilkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiki Tavares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiki Tavares told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cyril Wilkinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tiki Tavares!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Tavares.
Wilkinson tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Tavares trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Wilkinson tries to hold on but Tavares postures up.
Tavares is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wilkinson suckers Tavares into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Wilkinson is now in Tavares's guard!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tavares looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wilkinson has picked Tavares up and slammed him! Tavares can't keep hold of the triangle and Wilkinson manages to pass to side control!
Tavares can't do much from the bottom here.

Wilkinson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tavares, who protects the arm well.
Wilkinson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tavares is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Sloppy strikes there by Wilkinson.
Tavares is trying to work for a sweep but Wilkinson has mounted him!
Tavares is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wilkinson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Tavares is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Wilkinson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tavares is on top in guard.
Tavares won't allow Wilkinson to get back to his feet.
Wilkinson really is a fat lump.
Tavares trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tavares content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Wilkinson has locked up a guillotine! Wilkinson's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Tavares is holding on here and Wilkinson must be using up a lot of energy. Tavares has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Wilkinson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
