The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Durant rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shorts moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Durant misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A nice inside leg kick there by Shorts. That's going to slow Durant down.
Durant fails to land with a series of punches.
Shorts goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Durant takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Durant falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shorts counters with a good, hard body kick but Durant shrugs it off.
Shorts throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Durant.
Durant throws a left and a right that both miss
and Shorts counters with a nice leg kick.
Durant steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Shorts. That one must have hurt.
Durant is breathing heavily.
Shorts throws a series of punches but Durant avoids them all with ease.
Durant falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shorts makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Durant really felt that one!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shorts scores with a three punch combo!
Shorts throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

and Shorts counters with a three punch combo that has Durant backing up. Durant nods at Shorts to acknowledge the strikes.
Durant slips a jab and a cross from Shorts.

Shorts lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Durant backs up against the cage.

Oh Durant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shorts feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Durant crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
