The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasmussen closes the distance and clinches.
Rasmussen jumps guard and drags Kazim to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Rasmussen looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Rasmussen is pulling down on Kazim's head to control his posture.

Kazim pushes down on Rasmussen's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kazim wants to pass the guard but Rasmussen is defending well.
Kazim is looking for a kimura here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Still in half guard, Kazim seems content to control.
