PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between andrew rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keizou Ishizaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). rock comes to the cage accompanied by my god. Ishizaki has chosen Japanese Rap as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishizaki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but rock circles away quickly and effectively.
Ishizaki fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
rock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ishizaki swats him away and circles back towards the center.

rock manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ishizaki throws a series of punches but rock avoids them all with ease.

rock makes his way to full guard. A much better position for rock.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ishizaki shoots in for a double leg but rock sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Keizou Ishizaki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Ishizaki decides to stand back up. Ishizaki steps back and let's rock get back to his feet.

Ishizaki is nestled in close to rock, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Ishizaki drops back looking for a leg! rock is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and rock manages to kick Ishizaki off! Ishizaki jumps back into rock's guard.
rock seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
