Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

Thomas stalks Scrubs and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Scrubs's face. Scrubs staggers backwards, shaken.

Scrubs avoids a punch combination nicely.
Scrubs was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Thomas throws a nice looking combination but Scrubs bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Scrubs ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Scrubs no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Scrubs escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thomas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Thomas decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Scrubs, up you get!

Thomas wants to break the clinch but can't.
Thomas wants to get back to striking at distance but Scrubs won't allow it.
Thomas can't find room to land a body shot as Scrubs controls the action.
Thomas wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Scrubs has him pressed against the cage.

Scrubs stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Thomas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That kick from Thomas tenderised Scrubs's leg. Scrubs is trying to keep his angry face on.
Thomas tried to score with a low kick but Scrubs checks it.
Scrubs throws a body shot but no joy.
Thomas misses with a wild combination.
Thomas is looking to land body kicks.
A little feinted left hand from Scrubs on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ely Scrubs will probably get the nod.

Scrubs jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Thomas walks away with a smile on his face. Scrubs gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Thomas has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Scrubs to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Thomas is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Scrubs pulls down on the head and he's put Thomas to sleep! This one is all over!
