The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Dux. Those never looked like landing.
Dux fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dux misses with a double jab.
A head kick misses from Dux.
Dux jabs Malone right on the nose. Malone blinks but takes it well.
Dux tries to clinch there but Malone circles away.
Malone swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Dux misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Malone.
Dux looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dux walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
John Dux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malone moves out of range of the leg kick from Dux.
Dux lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Malone circles away quickly and effectively.
Dux moves out of range as Malone strikes.
Dux throws a series of punches but Malone moves out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dux will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Malone lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Malone takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dux looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Dux misses with a two punch combination.

Dux lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Malone circles away quickly and effectively.
Malone circles away from the clinch attempt.

Dux closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Dux is leaning against Malone and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Dux's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Malone connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Dux displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Malone throws out the jab.
Malone slips a jab and a cross from Dux.
Malone cracks Dux with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Dux lands a left and a right that sends Malone crashing to the canvas! Dux dives into mount looking to finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dux quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Dux but it's paid off an Malone is forced to tap! Nice work by Dux.
