The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paniccia looks to score with a jab to the body but Rex is just out of range.

Rex was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rex pushes Paniccia back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Kadeus Rex has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piero Paniccia.

That was a close round but I would say that Kadeus Rex will probably get the nod.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Paniccia. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

A little feinted left hand from Rex on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Rex counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Paniccia has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
