Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Denis Holder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hector Diaz has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Denis Holder's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws a chopping leg kick but Holder manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A head kick misses from Diaz.
Diaz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Holder's waist but Holder gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Diaz off to one side.

Diaz drives through and clinches with Holder against the cage.
Holder is looking to take this one to the mat.
Holder wants a takedown.

Holder breaks the clinch.
No luck for Diaz with that takedown attempt.

Diaz clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Holder avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Denis Holder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Diaz.

Holder escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Diaz unleashes a big counter combination but Holder bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

You can see the frustration on Diaz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Holder is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Diaz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Holder lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Holder.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Diaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holder. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Holder punishes Diaz with strikes from the back mount.

Holder working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Diaz is doing well to defend. Holder seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Diaz is forced to tap and this one is over!
