The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carel has his takedown stuffed
and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Chuck Carel has been cut.
Carel wants to clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Johnson as Carel shoots in.
Carel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Johnson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Anthony Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Carel.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Carel.
Johnson was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Johnson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Carel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Johnson looks to land a left hand but Carel moved out of range nicely.
Carel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carel somewhat.
Johnson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Carel.
Johnson is looking for a counter combo.
Johnson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Carel.
Carel darts in trying to clinch
and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Johnson cracks Carel with a right hand to the side of the head.

and Johnson counters with a crisp right that sends Carel to the canvas! Johnson follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
