The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward throws a sloppy head kick and Harvey moves out of range easily.
Ward with a lazy takedown attempt
letting Harvey counter with a right hand.
Ward shoots and misses
and Harvey counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Chris Ward has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ward.
A little feinted left hand from Harvey on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Van Harvey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Ward.
Harvey plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Harvey is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ward is trying to escape and Harvey transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ward is forced to tap! Nice work there by Harvey! Very nice indeed!
