Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daisuke Fujii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hadeo Ichisun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ichisun feints and as Fujii raises his hands in defense, Ichisun changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Fujii is looking for a triangle but Ichisun pushes his legs off easily.
Fujii wants to sweep but no luck.
Fujii is working hard here to advance position.
Ichisun trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Ichisun drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fujii looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fujii looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fujii!
Fujii wants to control but Ichisun is keeping him busy.
Ichisun manages to get back to half guard.
Fujii is trying to control the action in half guard but Ichisun is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Fujii thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ichisun's head.

Ichisun is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Fujii pulls his head out easily.

Fujii is looking for a kimura but Ichisun is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fujii to get the leverage.
Ichisun makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ichisun.

Ichisun has his foot on Fujii's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fujii works his way back into a safe position though.
Fujii is breathing heavily.
Ichisun keeping moving, preventing Fujii from controlling successfully.

Ichisun looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fujii keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ichisun's head.
Fujii knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ichisun on the ground.
Fujii wants to control from the top but Ichisun keeps moving.

Ichisun escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fujii gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fujii trying to control but Ichisun is working from the bottom.
Ichisun tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Ichisun working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fujii doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fujii manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ichisun has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fujii can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ichisun is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Ichisun sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Fujii prevents Ichisun from improving his position.
Fujii not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Fujii looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Fujii wants to work for an arm triangle but Ichisun is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fujii wants to pass the guard but Ichisun is defending well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ichisun throws a one two combo.

Ichisun closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hadeo Ichisun dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ichisun bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Ichisun thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fujii struggling a bit here.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ichisun is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Fujii is trying to escape and Ichisun transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Fujii is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ichisun! Very nice indeed!
